Tail-Great is an annual tailgate themed fundraiser that brings together the community for a night of food, drink, and fundraising. This year we are excited to announce our partnership with the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania to host the Erie TailGREAT: A Night at the Movies. The 2019 TailGreat is being hosted at the PACA building, and it will feature Big Lebowski themed food from the Que Abides, craft beers from Erie Ale Works, and a showing of the Big Lebowski.

Who Does TailGREAT Help?
1. Scholarship for a Physical Therapy Student at Gannon University

Physical therapy is a health care profession that primarily focuses on the preservation, development, and restoration of optimal function.

The scholarship will support a first year Doctor of Physical Therapy candidate.
2. Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania

The mission of the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania is to grow the film industry, develop regional filmmakers, and foster patronage for the art of film.

Funds raised at TailGREAT will support the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania's Filmmaker Fund, which provides grants to local filmmakers to cover costs of locations, equipment purchases and rentals, insurance, transportation, and more.
3. Emma's Footprints

Emma's Footprints was founded in memory of Emma Kathryn Dailey, who was born into heaven. Since 2013, Emma's Footprints has been walking with pregnancy and infant loss families in their grief journeys, providing care and support as they travel down this difficult and often lonely path.

From providing financial support for funeral costs and emotional support through group meetings and one-o-one connections with our Care Team, Emma's Footprints offers many services to help families in their time of need.
4. Veterans Miracle Center of Erie

Veterans Miracle Center of Erie is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to serve veterans in Erie, Venango, and Crawford counties by providing services and supplies to those in need.

Donations are used to provide clothing, personal care and hygiene products, and children's toys all free-of-charge to veterans and their immediate household.
5. Side Project Inc.

Side Project Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote social justice and social change by incubating and developing grassroots projects. Since 2012, we have helped hundreds of small grassroots nonprofit organizations establish a strong foundation by helping them with legal and operational challenges.

Donations are used to support the Side Project Internship Program & Nonprofit Incubator. The Legal Services program partners with the Erie Nonprofit Partnership to host "Meet with a Lawyer" days for area nonprofits. Over the past two years, ten nonprofits have received pro bono legal support through this program.
